Nike Milan City Pack

A year after the successful opening of the Foot Locker basketball court in Viale Lazio, Milan, we celebrate with a dedicated and exclusive Nike Sneaker pack.
The court has become the ‘dome of street basketball among the local baller community. Why the dome? Because its internationally known creator, illustrator, and graphic designer, Davide Barco, took his inspiration from the white marble and the decorated aisles of the ancient Duomo of Milan to create the design of the court. Many local street ballers and professional players of all ages meet on the court, making the place a hub for sport, fun, and friendship.
Nike created an exclusive Milan Court Pack to celebrate this success, featuring an Air Force 1, Air Max Uptempo, and Dunk High. The sneakers all come with a ‘basketball dome’ vibe with a distinct blue, red, and white color palette. To strengthen the collection’s launch, the campaign has been shot by the number one basketball crew in Italy: Da Move. Four members of the Da Move crew also feature in the shoot in iconic locations in Milan, including the Duomo, the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele mosaic bull, and the iconic Piazza Affari square, where the stock exchange resides.
To tell his story behind the original court design, we invited Davide Barco to walk us through his inspiration whilst styling the Nike and Foot Locker exclusive footwear collection.
