Metallic Fund Fashion Design Programme

It was this time last year when we announced our collaboration with Metallic Fund to bring about the newly created Fashion Design Programme. The course was a ten-week fashion and streetwear focused creative accelerator with a mission to nurture and elevate the next generation of leading Black and People of Colour creatives.

The six aspiring designers from across the UK, Tianan Ding, Celine Kreis, Nicole Vernon, Pokuaa Ansere, Niran Nair, and Nigel Matambo, began their involvement in the programme in February 2022, and now select items from their limited-edition capsule collections are available to purchase exclusively at Foot Locker Marble Arch store in London until the 13th November 2022.

One outfit from each young talent has been selected to be sold to the public. Some of the key designs include a bespoke tracksuit from Nicole Vernon which have been inspired by ‘A world a of no rules’, a cut out top made by Celine Kreis and technical wear from Tianan.

The collection launch took place on 3rd November in our Marble Arch store. We invited down friends, family and mentors of the designers, Foot Locker, and Metallic Inc. to celebrate the unveiling. Check out what went down below.
